Prometheus Technology Systems Corp ("Prometheus," "we," "us," or "our") operates ClaimParity ("the Service") at claimparity.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our Service.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit a request for access, contact us, or register for an account, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, organization name, and job title.
- Usage data. We automatically collect certain information when you visit the Service, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of your visit, and referring URLs.
- Healthcare claims data. When you upload remittance files (835 ERA files) or contracted rate schedules for analysis, we collect and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. This data is stored securely on infrastructure subject to a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Microsoft Azure.
- Communications. If you contact us directly, we may retain records of that correspondence.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the ClaimParity Service
- Process and analyze remittance data you upload to identify underpayments
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests
- Send you administrative communications, such as service updates or security alerts
- Improve our Service through usage analytics
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or your healthcare data to third parties.
3. Healthcare Data & HIPAA
ClaimParity processes healthcare remittance data that may constitute Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). When you use ClaimParity to process PHI, Prometheus Technology Systems Corp acts as your Business Associate under HIPAA.
Prior to uploading any PHI to ClaimParity, you must execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Prometheus Technology Systems Corp. Please contact us at legal@claimparity.com to request a BAA.
The demo environment at ClaimParity contains only synthetic, fictitious data and does not constitute PHI. No BAA is required to access the demo.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States. Microsoft Azure is a HIPAA-eligible service and operates under a BAA with Prometheus Technology Systems Corp. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards including:
- Encryption of data at rest (Azure SQL Transparent Data Encryption)
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher)
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Regular security assessments
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and uploaded data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 90 days unless we are required by law to retain it longer. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@claimparity.com.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use session cookies necessary for the operation of the Service, such as maintaining your authenticated session. On our public website we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages; it sets first-party cookies and collects aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, referring source, and approximate (city-level) location. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising tracking, and analytics runs only on our marketing website — never on the authenticated application or any customer data. You may disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics, though disabling necessary cookies may affect functionality.
7. Third-Party Services
ClaimParity may use the following third-party services in the operation of our website:
- Microsoft Azure — for hosting and data storage, including contact form submissions processed on the ClaimParity platform. Microsoft's privacy policy is available at microsoft.com/privacy.
- Google Analytics — for measuring traffic to our public marketing website only. No PHI or customer data is shared with Google Analytics. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not share PHI or customer data with these services beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
8. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy
ClaimParity is intended for use by healthcare organizations and their authorized personnel. The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
